GIVE IT A KISS

I am sure you might be wondering what we are giving a kiss, well it's not the KISS  that you are thinking about. KISS here is an acronym for:

K- Keep
I- It
S- Simple &
S- Short

Now I'm suggesting that you give your bridal makeover a KISS. The bridal makeover is one of the most important aspect of the occasion for the bride because she wants to look stunning and at  her best. So many brides go as far as hiring a makeup artist to bring out that special beauty in them. My point exactly, whether you are getting a makeup artist or you are doing it yourself however the case maybe, give it a simple and fine appearance. Bridal makeovers are not meant to be loud and too sharp, just as your dress is just white and not loud and distracting but  basically highlighting your essentials.

The eyes is said to be the window of the soul and a lot of attention is usually given to it. By a lot of attention I do not mean too many eye shadow but this attention involves proper clearing or sharpening of eye brows, light application of eye shadow and a simple eye liner. The whole idea is for your to have that simple, charming, angelic and tender look. If you must use an eyelash for a more dramatic look, avoid the very long and and heavy strip eyelash such that your eyes are barely seen. Your wedding day is not the day for you to look like a cat or a plastic doll......lol. Just like the eyes, keep the lip stick application simple and short, use mild but attractive colours. Natural lipsticks that suit your facial colour should be used.

Once you can keep it simple and short you are sure to look great and very natural.  Remember to tell your makeup artist to give it a KISS.

Just a quick one any ideas why the bridal makeovers for traditional marriage are mostly deep or heavy?

READY BUT STILL WAITING

I have something to say, hmmmmmmm, I have something to say.... Listen! Listen pay full attention for I have something to say...... Ehennnnnn so let me land. When I dropped my first note this year " Same wish-list as every year" it was focused on the unmarried young lady and this led me straight to my next thoughts which i'm about to share with you. You know I always like to look at the flip side of every story, so my focus is undoubtedly focused on the unmarried brothers. When I write I draw my inspiration/findings from real life everyday  people and experiences that everyone can relate with, it doesn't necessarily have to be about me but I clearly like to state my opinion on life issues as I see or perceive them. *wink* Now  Prince charming got it all working for him, a good family, a great job, a nice apartment, may or may not have a car, perfect gentle man, ladies man, and goes to church at le ast every sunday.
