WHAT ABOUT A NIGERIAN COLOUR WEDDING THEME

Weddings have gone past the traditional way of having it, In recent times wedding ceremonies has become very fashionable with creative ideas, style and embellishment. This is seen from the wedding theme, to the wedding attires, colours and decorations. We have the Christmas wedding Theme, Las Vegas wedding Theme etc; whatever, just name it, imagine it and have it depending on what you love and want. Having a Nigeria colour wedding theme, hence flying the colours of the Nigerian flag may not be a bad idea too. You can have the bride's maids as well as your guest appear in green and white, the designs are beautiful and endless. You can even use the colours for your bouquet and also have it styled into your wedding dress, but its advisable to use more of the white fabric with a touch of green fabric, ribbons or stones for emphasis. Totally not a bad idea.   Your maid of honour is not left out too. The groom can also have a touch of green in his attire, a white

MOTHER-IN-LAWS 2 (MAKE IT WORK)

In my opinion, often times the problem always comes from the Wify. Here are my reasons; #1. First of all, you already have that wrong mindset about mother-in-laws, and unconsciously you read meanings to anything she says or do. #2. Some ladies are fake from the onset. The first time they visit a guy's home, they pretend to be what they are not, for example wake up very early before everyone  else and  do the chores. Sometimes they  even do stuff they ordinarily wouldn’t have done in their own parents house, trying to impress her. Now she is impressed, she approves of you, you are now married, you did not change but decided to relax and be yourself; after all it is your home, and she too obviously thought you have changed and perceived you were pretending all along, wish seemed so if you ask me. What do you expect, she too will change because you have stopped doing all those stuff she liked about you? #3.  Some do not come prepared When you were thinking of t

MOTHER-IN-LAWS (ANOTHER SIDE OF THE COIN)

This is a topic many married women love to discuss and the single ladies dread but really I see no issue in it. Who really are mother-in-laws? I know you know they are the mothers to ones husband. But when the phrase is mentioned what comes to mind? Fear – trouble- witch- lack of peace or an intruder? What really comes to your mind?                      This brings me back to when I was in secondary school; I and my hostel mates were having a discussion, when one of us immediately mentioned that she prays her mother-in-law to-be dies before she’ll ever meet her husband. Waoooo I thought to myself, that was rather harsh and a barbaric mindset, but would you blame her, No! certainly not. It was the level of information she was exposed to at that time and the society we live in. I know some of you still think like my old school mate, but truth be told it is wrong. Hardly would you watch a home video without displaying the mother -in-law as a troublesome character. Bu

DORIS SIMEON NOW IN THE GAME OF MARRIED MEN

Culled from chat 212 news   Report - Dog eat dog is the name of the game in the entertainment industry in Nigeria as some of the ladies often go to battle with themselves in the dirty game of cheating. You just can’t afford to support anyone or take sides with one of these ladies as the good wife you are taking sides with might just be getting screwed by another woman’s husband secretly… As such, we are not taking the latest gist in town about actress Doris Simeon with the pinch of salt.  Doris has been lonely for sometime now courtesy of her husband, Daniel Ademinokan, dumping her for fellow actress and mother of two kids, Stella Damasus, under controversial circumstances. Many had thought that Doris would move on and settle down with a single guy since she is still kind of young but that doesn’t seem to be the case. We learnt Doris is now “enjoying” herself with a rich Newspaper Editor, who is married with children and some say the man’s wife has already gotten wind of

WHAT'S A GIRL GONNA DO

I feel very excited to write about this, it's an issue that cuts across many ladies old, middle age, young and from different works of life. A career lady, a business lady, or a student (by student I mean one in the university and not under aged secondary school girls. So if you are following my blog this post isn't for you, so sorry sweetie). This topic is more like a follow up one of my post "EVERY BODY HAS THEIR OWN ROBIN" but strays away a bit because though it involves someone you're in love with but the difference here is that you are a lady and you don't know if it's right to let him know how you feel. Okay let's get in. What's a girl gonna do when she finds out she's in love with a man. Now this is not just some guy you met, could be an old school mate you grew up with, your team mate or close colleague in the office,  your landlord's brother, even your best friend. The thing is that unconsciously you got so used to him t

I'M MY OWN LOVER

I am tall, dark, rich, handsome, quite young, with a good job, a nice car, and I live in a fabulous apartment, you can call it my own heaven, I've got the money but not to throw around....what more could a decent girl want from a decent man?......you ask yourself in your head. Well brother your thoughts are coming out loud that I can even hear them. The issue is not what the lady isn't seeing but its actually what you are seeing. I think you are seeing too much of yourself,  behind all those I am an Okay guy or Mr Right guy bragadocious thoughts, I hear some pride and maybe arrogance and it just tells me you are your own lover. Okay Sisi you have been wondering when your big day will come, when you'll have Royalty Okasions plan your wedding, but they all never seem to proposed. Have you asked yourself why?  this is your forth relationship and he too is acting strange, may likely leave like the previous three. You are blaming everyone else but yourself. He cheated o

GIVE IT A KISS

I am sure you might be wondering what we are giving a kiss, well it's not the KISS  that you are thinking about. KISS here is an acronym for: K- Keep I- It S- Simple & S- Short Now I'm suggesting that you give your bridal makeover a KISS. The bridal makeover is one of the most important aspect of the occasion for the bride because she wants to look stunning and at  her best. So many brides go as far as hiring a makeup artist to bring out that special beauty in them. My point exactly, whether you are getting a makeup artist or you are doing it yourself however the case maybe, give it a simple and fine appearance. Bridal makeovers are not meant to be loud and too sharp, just as your dress is just white and not loud and distracting but  basically highlighting your essentials. The eyes is said to be the window of the soul and a lot of attention is usually given to it. By a lot of attention I do not mean too many eye shadow but this attention involves proper clearing

WORK OUT >>>>> TO FIT IN <<<<<<.

So everything is in place, so your dress has been delivered already and its 2months to go. all preparation has been made and you are counting down months or weeks to say "I Do". Now what about your dress really? It's very possible to gain some more pounds before that day and this might cause some inconvenience for you while wearing that beautiful gown. The last thing you need on your big day is to feel uncomfortable, you have to look smart and elegant in that beautiful dress to become the envy of your friends. To achieve this is simple, Work out to Fit in. 1. Register in the closest gymnasium near you and go for your work out consistently OR 2. If you can discipline yourself, you need not visit the gym or get a trainer. Apart from your regular free or spot jogging, you can do some simple home fitness or flexibility exercise to increase your energy level and stamina as well as to keep you in shape. It's all about fitting firmly into your dress, and if y

CONTROVERSIES ON APOSTLE ANSELM MARRIAGE TO KENYA GOSPEL ARTIST EMMY (IN: WEDDING PHOTOS)

On Saturday August 31, 2013 General overseer Apostle Anselm Madubuko, 55, of Revival Assembly and his Kenyan wife, Emmy Kosgei , 33, walked down the aisle.
