5 TIPS/GUIDELINES ON BRIDAL HAIR

A very vital part of the bridal makeover and appearance is the bridal hair. What about your hair? What style have you chosen and how are you going about it. Here is a few tips to guide you when taking decisions as regards your wedding day hair.

1. Start early
First of all, everything about wedding requires starting early to achieve a good result. Start searching for the style early enough. Become more conscious of ladies hair-do and that of other brides. Use this time to scan through your photo gallery to see the hair and the style that looked good on you most in the past.

2. Shop for a stylist
If your regular stylist is not into bridal hair, shop for one. That's why the first point is important. Get recommendations from friends, family members or a wedding planner. You are shopping for both the best and affordable stylist. Other times you can use your regular stylist and get a makeup artiste who is good in wrapping bridal hair. Don't try to do it yourself if you don't know how to, but if you must, get someone to assist you and to give you honest advice/opinion. Once you get the right stylist, book for your hair trial so as to avoid negative surprises.

3. Be You.
This is where some ladies err and look like someone else on their wedding day, such that they weren't easily recognized. That XYZ did a particular hair style doesn't mean that style will be good on you. Are the shapes of your faces thesame? Be true to yourself. That the weavon is expensive is not a guarantee that it will look good on you. Even though it's a cheap weavon or it could be your natural hair, as long as it looks good enough and fits you more, dress/accessorize it nicely and be you. Avoid anything too complicated.

4. Begin the Process
You do not just make your hair on your wedding morning. Begin the process early. Have a trial of your bridal hair, to avoid stories that touch. See how you will look. Maybe you want your hair coloured or dyed, do this like a month to your wedding, So it could sink and blend properly to look more natural and also to get acquitted with your face. If you need to relax or perm your hair, do this like 3days to your wedding, incase there is a burn it can be treated and every pain can subside before your big day.

5. Be free
Its not really advisable to do your hair on the morning of your wedding. The day or night before its always better because by the time you sleep and wake up, the tight edges of the hair showing on your face must have reduced Now your face is more relaxed. Avoid anything too tight or that will disturb your scalp. Avoid any hair-do that will constantly obstruct your view, ensure its properly wrapped. You must be free to tell the stylist to do it the way you please if you are not satisfied.

THE TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE PHOTOS: PJ WEDS SUNNY

From the massive traffic at Festac town yesterday, you could tell that something was happening and the obvious questions were "what is happening", "who are they", "where're they from" And bla bla blah...lol...It's Josephine Enemor and Sunny Ihesiaba's traditional marriage. It was a colourful, classy and a typical igbo traditional wedding, as both couples are from the eastern part of Nigeria. Everyone was in red, white and gold attires especially the stunning bride in her gold lace, red george with circle patterned embriodery, and a stony glittering gold purse, the groom looking smart and dashing, men in red cap and beautiful maidens in array. I can go on and on about the event and you can be assured that it was funfilled as Royalty Okasions were in charge *wink*... Click HERE  to view their wedding website.
