It's said that the Joy of any parent is to give their child happily in marriage to the one their heart desires, foster or no foster. So was the case of the president and the first lady of Nigeria Goodluck and Patience Ebele Jonathan who gave their daughter Faith Elizabeth Sakwe to longtime boo Godswill Osim Edward from Cross River State on April 5th in Otuoke, in Bayelsa State. Faith who is a lawyer, we heard met Godswill in school and they have been close since then.

The groom paid N50,000 (About $300) as brideprice, and his entourage was led by the Governor of his state, Governor Liyel Imoke. The high and the mighties were all present, the likes of Hajia Bola Shagaya, Senator Ben Obi, Ifeanyi Uba, Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa, Governor Liyel Imoke, some 1st ladies and many more were in attendance. From the massive traffic at Festac town yesterday, you could tell that something was happening and the obvious questions were "what is happening", "who are they", "where're they from" And bla bla blah...lol...It's Josephine Enemor and Sunny Ihesiaba's traditional marriage. It was a colourful, classy and a typical igbo traditional wedding, as both couples are from the eastern part of Nigeria. Everyone was in red, white and gold attires especially the stunning bride in her gold lace, red george with circle patterned embriodery, and a stony glittering gold purse, the groom looking smart and dashing, men in red cap and beautiful maidens in array.
