I particularly like the month of February,  not just because it carries the valentine day and all the activities involved, but because it is also my birth month. Call it whatever, I sure do love february...lol So welcome to February 2014, it's fresh and brand new, you have never seen this February before.  Februarys are usually associated with love all around the world, so show some kindness and love to not just your relatives or acquintances but even to someone you do not know. A kind gesture could just be all you need to make someone  feel loved this season. Its goes beyond the exchange of gifts, though its needful. No long sermon though....we'll talk about Valentine when it arrives but for now Happy February. 

The wedding veil is part of the wedding costume and tradition for both the white wedding and some traditional wedding like the yorubas in the western part of Nigeria. The veil is usually used to cover the bride until she is presented to the groom to unveil and confirm truly that she is his bride. By Royal David: Are you just realizing that Cinderella has been in fantasy land? The same land you helped her built while you were courting? Now let me jog your brain a little so you can understand how your negligence in these things can kill the romance in your happy married life. Now when was the last time you swept her off her feet? I mean literally carried her and spinned her around until you both fell on the floor and laughed like little children. When was the last time you had your usual sunday outing? What was the last gift you gave her and when, on her birthday? But you used to do these things and more in the first few months of your marriage,  now you want her to wake up from what was suppose to be her happily ever after? You might ask "if I don't do those things why can't she?" Like I explained before in part1, some things are meant for ladies and some for men. You don't expect her to carry you and spin you around,  do you? I don't think so...

As Cinderilla approached the alter, only one figure caught her attention, it was the glow of her Knight In Shining Armour. And as she walks toward him she remembered that blessed day they had first met; how he actually got a bruise on his elbow while trying to hold her back from tripping down the stairs as the heels of her shoe got hooked to something. On another occasion when she was very sick he had to take the week off from work just to be there for her. He prepared her dishes and took over all her house chores. She remembered every sweet moment right from their first meeting to the day he got on one knee at the restaurant with a beautiful ring asking her to marry him. He had indeed been the definition of Prince Charming. Tears of joy overwhelmed her as she walked up to him at the alter because she believed it will indeed be a life of bliss forever with him. Looking back on that graceful wedding day, it's hardly past a hundred days before this tears now rolling down her chee...

Finally, Toke and her boo of 12 years with their drama relationship had a secret registry wedding  on the 15th of this month with few family members and friends in attendance.  A big Congratulations to them

As the ministers prayed for the newly weds, some of the words the minister pronounced were left in my spirit weeks after the wedding.  He said "I pray for you that your marriage becomes a blessing to the body of Christ and to the entire congregation, that your marriage and home becomes an inspiration and admiration to many, a place of hope, and safety" and everyone chorused AMEN at the end of the prayers. The prayers left me thinking and I decided to pen my thoughts to the benefit of everyone. How does marriage become a blessing? Your marriage can become a blessing to the body of Christ (the church) this is because according to the Holy book... it is expected that two will do more than one. It says one will chase a thousand and two will put ten thosand to flight. If as an individual you used to win 5 souls for Christ, now that you are married the church expects that your combine efforts should  produce 15 souls for the Lord.
